María Evelia Emerson

María Evelia Emerson is a research and instruction librarian at Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois. She has also been the Faculty-in-Residence since the fall of 2019, where she lives in one of the residence halls with her family and gets to know students outside of the classroom. María graduated with her bachelor’s degree from Hope College in 2010, and with her MLIS from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2014.
