Cheryl L. Ney is Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Director of Capital University’s Summer Science Institute. Trained as a DNA biochemist at the University of Chicago, she has focused her scholarship on the teaching and learning of science by women, was a faculty development leader in the NSF-funded Women and Science project in the University of Wisconsin System, and works on rooting science in empathy and sustainable science practice.
